After being an Allstate agency owner in Acworth GA from 2007 to 2020, I transitioned to the independent side of the industry. The Upton Agency Insurance Brokerage opened in Bentwater Village March 1st of 2020. I’m no longer captive to a single carrier, which is exciting because I can offer more options to my community. Being an Independent agent means I’m able to quote and write your insurance through various companies like the ones shown here. We do the shopping for you! Tevis Upton - Agency Owner
I come from an insurance family. My father has been a State Farm agent since 1971. It felt right to follow in his footsteps and open my own insurance agency in 2007.
I describe myself as a neighborhood agent – focusing not just on writing policies, but on building relationships and educating customers about insurance. I track industry trends and try to share the latest information I have with you, the consumer.
My family and I live six minutes from the office, as I like being a part of the Dallas/Acworth community. This area is growing rapidly and I am excited to be a part of the growth
When I'm not in the office, I'm spending time with my family. My passion is traveling to new places with them. I also enjoy playing competitive golf during the summer.
